While in town, many tourists visit the Wadden Sea Center and see the show about storm surges which are such a part of this region. The Wadden Sea is an important area for migratory birds, which you may be lucky enough to see during you visit.

Hike, bike, tour the medieval town, and even take a tour of a biogas plant.

This hotel doesn't allow pets.

Though this hotel doesn't provide any transportation, the town is small enough that walking around is quite feasible, and most enjoyable. Cycling is another option; in fact bicycle storage is available.
