Review:
What a great all-round experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and dedicated to Kimpton's earthcare program.

The hotel's commitment to the environment is quite evident. Kimpton Hotels, the owner of Cypress Hotel, provides brochures & pamphlets in the room which describe their day-to-day efforts to be part of the solution instead a contributor to the problem. All hotel collateral is printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks.

They have recycling trash bins in the room for bottles, cans & paper, they use earth-friendly cleaning products & provide L'Occitane bath products in each room. They do not use plastic trash liners, have a towel & linen program and keep your newspaper preferences on file to reduce waste. The disposable cups they use are 30% post-consumer recyclable.

There is a shuttle service for transportation to San Jose International Airport. There is also a shuttle service to nearby business campuses.

Despite the fact that they use regular light bulbs, one of their managers assured me that they are in the process of replacing all of their light bulbs with compact fluorescent lighting.

The hotel donates used bath amenities, towels & linens to local shelters. They regularly fiend other ways to contribute to the community as well.

What a great stay at a great hotel!
