To give you a tool to help you make faster decisions about your interest in specific environmentally friendly hotels that come up on your searches, we have designed a rating system. The non-green but business related attributes are not included in the rating system. Here's how listed properties earned their ratings.
  • 1 green tree --
    1-4 "Yes" check marks in a green attribute

  • 2 green trees --
    5-9 "Yes" check marks in a green attribute

  • 3 green trees --
    10-15 "Yes" check marks in a green attribute

  • 4 green trees --
    16-22 "Yes" check marks in a green attribute

  • 5 green trees --
    23-26 "Yes" check marks in a green attribute

  • 6 green trees --
    27-28 "Yes" check marks -- all the green attributes

  • 7 green trees --
    29 "Yes" check marks -- all the green attributes
