Comments:
The hotel offered a towel and sheet program but housekeeping did not honor it, replacing towels and sheets we had requested keeping.

Review:
I chose the Hilton Budapest because I was attending a conference there in October 2000. It's location on Castle Hill near the Fisherman's Bastion was top notch, providing Danube River views for many of the guestrooms. The hotel didn't pay attention to the sheet/towel reuse program it promised, but at least it didn't put a newspaper in front of my door each morning.
Our room was nice, our view was fantastic, and the service was good. Expectations and language barriers can really impact an experience. Hospitality-wise this was wonderful. Sustainability/Green-wise this was bad.
Despite that observation, this is a hotel I recommend -- just be sure to demand a good green experience.
